About the role

We are seeking a new graduate or experienced Podiatrist to join our dynamic team. We have three clinics - Langwarrin, Cranbourne, and Seaford and all close to freeways to make travel time to the city between 20- 30 minutes. This is a full-time or part-time position , offering flexibility to suit your career aspirations. As a Podiatrist, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of foot and lower limb conditions. You will work collaboratively with our clinical team to provide comprehensive podiatric care and help our patients achieve optimal foot health and mobility. This position offers the prospect to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes whilst developing your clinical skills within a supportive, modern healthcare environment. Our Mentoring starts on day 1 with traing provided by our sports and Paediatric specialist podiatrists of 30 years.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including detailed history taking and physical examinations of the foot and lower limb
- Diagnose and treat a range of podiatric conditions,



including but not limited to biomechanical disorders, nail pathology, dermatological conditions and sports-related injuries
- Provide preventative foot care education and advice to patients to promote long-term foot health
- Develop individualised treatment plans and provide evidence-based clinical interventions
- Prescribe and fit orthotics, bracing and other supportive devices as clinically appropriate
- Perform routine nail care and other clinical procedures in accordance with best practice guidelines
- Maintain accurate, detailed and timely clinical documentation and patient records
- Work in a team of 5 Podiatrists alongside Physiotherapists and other allied health professionals onsite. Communicate effectively with patients, allied health professionals and medical practitioners to ensure coordinated care
- Contribute to the professional development and training of junior clinical staff where applicable
- Maintain high standards of clinical practice, infection control and professional conduct

What we're looking for

- Accreditation or registration with the appropriate Australian podiatric regulatory body (currently AHPRA or equivalent)
- Overseas Applicants Welcome.




- A relevant Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Podiatry or equivalent qualification recognised in Australia
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse patient populations
- Robust organisational skills.
- A commitment to evidence-based practice, ongoing professional development and staying current with contemporary podiatric management approaches
- High standards of professionalism, integrity and ethical conduct
- Willingness to work as part of a collaborative team and contribute to a positive workplace culture
