THE ROLE
In this role, you will play a versatile position that combines administrative support with accounts management responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, multi-faceted role.
You will be involved in supporting the smooth operation of our business by managing both financial and administrative functions, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and professional standards across all areas of your work.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment reconciliation and financial record keeping
- Previous experience using TransVirtual is essential for this role.
- Administrative support to the wider team, including scheduling, correspondence and document management
- Preparing financial reports and statements in accordance with company procedures and accounting standards
- Maintaining accurate and organising filing systems, both digital and physical, ensuring information is easily retrievable
- Preparing banking transactions, account reconciliations and cash flow management
- Liaising with external stakeholders, clients and suppliers regarding financial and administrative matters
- Assisting with payroll administration and employee record management
- Data entry and database management, ensuring information accuracy and completeness
- Supporting the finance team with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Performing general administrative duties as required to support business operations
THE ESSENTIALS
- Proven experience in an administrative and accounts support role, ideally within a similar fast-paced environment
- Strong proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks simultaneously
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling financial data
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues, clients and suppliers
- A reliable and proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High-level numeracy skills and comfort with financial figures and reconciliation processes
- Experience with payroll systems or MYOB accounting software is advantageous but not essential
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in accounting, bookkeeping or administration would strengthen your application
