About In Sync Therapy Hub

At In Sync Therapy Hub, we believe the best outcomes for children happen when we look at the whole child – their relationships, sensory and emotional needs, family, school and everyday environments.

We are a growing paediatric allied health team supporting children, young people and families across Brisbane. Our team works collaboratively across psychology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and other allied health disciplines, with a strong focus on neuroaffirming, relationship-based and family-centred practice.

About the Role

This role would suit a psychologist who genuinely enjoys working with children, adolescents and families and values being part of an interdisciplinary team.

You will have the prospect to build a caseload around your areas of interest and experience, including therapeutic intervention, parent support and psychological and educational assessment.

We are particularly interested in clinicians who understand neurodivergent presentations and recognise the importance of working not only with the child, but also with their parents, school and broader support network.

Your work may include:

- Providing psychological intervention to children and adolescents across a range of emotional, behavioural and developmental presentations
- Supporting neurodivergent children and young people, including children with ADHD and autism
- Working closely with parents to build understanding, emotional regulation, connection and stronger family relationships
- Providing parent consultation and guidance
- Conducting psychological, developmental and educational assessments, including assessment relating to learning difficulties and learning disorders
- Developing evidence-based and individualised intervention plans
- Working collaboratively with our occupational therapists, physiotherapists and broader allied health team
- Liaising with schools, teachers, paediatricians and other professionals involved in a child's care

- Participating in interdisciplinary and joint approaches where this will support better outcomes for the child and family

About You

We would love to hear from you if you are a registered psychologist with AHPRA who has experience, or a strong interest, in paediatric and family practice.

Ideally, you will bring:

- Experience working with children, adolescents and families
- A strong understanding of neurodivergent presentations
- A neuroaffirming and strengths-based approach to practice
- An understanding of attachment, relationships and the impact of early experiences on development
- Confidence working collaboratively with parents and caregivers
- Experience or interest in educational and learning assessments
- An interest in working collaboratively with schools
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A willingness to work as part of an interdisciplinary team while maintaining professional autonomy

Why Join In Sync?

We want our psychologists to have the opportunity to do meaningful clinical work while being surrounded by clinicians who genuinely value collaboration.

At In Sync, you will have access to:

- Full-time or part-time employment , with flexibility around days and hours
- A supportive and established paediatric allied health team
- Genuine interdisciplinary practice rather than clinicians simply working alongside each other
- Opportunities to work collaboratively with OTs, physiotherapists and other clinicians
- A varied paediatric caseload with opportunities to develop your own clinical interests
- Strong relationships with schools and the opportunity to work within educational environments
- Professional development and ongoing learning opportunities
- A workplace that values clinical quality, relationships and sustainable caseloads
- Administration and team support so clinicians can focus on meaningful clinical work

Employment conditions and minimum remuneration are aligned with the applicable Health Professionals and Support Services Award , with In Sync's remuneration set above the relevant minimum award rate.
