The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and motivated Physiotherapist (Grade 2) to join our Allied Health & Chronic Disease Care Team for a Max term Parental leave cover position until 25th June2027) ideally as a full-time employee however (0.8 EFT part time will be considered). Primarily based at our Doncaster and Hawthorn sites, with opportunities to work across multiple AccessHC locations and within the community.

Working within a multidisciplinary allied health environment, you will deliver evidence-based, client-centred physiotherapy services to adult clients with a diverse range of needs including:

- Chronic disease and complex health conditions
- Progressive neurological conditions
- Disability support and rehabilitation
- Age-related health and mobility conditions

You will receivestrong clinical support from our Senior Clinician Physiotherapy and broader Physiotherapy team, ensuring you continue to grow and develop professionally.

About the role

This position offers adiverse and rewarding caseloadand the opportunity to deliver physiotherapy services across a variety of settings including:

- Clinic-based appointments
- Client home visits
- Community settings
- Group-based rehabilitation and exercise programs

You will play a key role in supporting clients to improve mobility, independence and quality of life, with a strong focus on empowerment, prevention and self-management.

What you will be doing Key responsibilities

- Delivertimely, safe and evidence-based physiotherapy serviceswithin your professional scope of practice
- Conductcomprehensive assessments, treatment planning and rehabilitation programs
- Provideindividual therapy, education and goal-based interventionsto support client independence
- Design and facilitategroup exercise and health programs
- Supportself-management and preventative health strategies
- Collaborate closely withmultidisciplinary allied health teamsto optimise client outcomes
- Maintainaccurate clinical documentation and data reportingaligned with funding requirements
- Participate inclinical supervision, professional development and quality improvement initiatives




- Contribute tostudent supervision and allied health assistant delegationwhere appropriate

What you will bring Key Selection Criteria

- Bachelor of Physiotherapy or relevant other tertiary degree
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in community health, disability, hospital or private practice as a physiotherapist
- Demonstrated clinical skills and experience in the delivery of Physiotherapy services with any one of the following: progressive neurological, disability, chronic disease, or age-related conditions
- Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist & GEAT & SWEP registered (or eligible to apply)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and aptitude for learning and using relevant software such as TrakCare, My Aged Care Portal and Microsoft Teams
