Tired of the routine clinical treadmill? Arc Dental Surrey Hills invites an experienced, passionate Dental Assistant / Receptionist to help shape our growing, people‑first practice on a casual or permanent part‑time basis.
Imagine working in a clinical environment that transcends the conventional cycle of routine dentistry. At Arc Dental, we champion a comprehensive, full‑mouth approach to long‑term health, offering a supportive space where your skills are actively nurtured and patient care is always deliberate, thorough, and unhurried.
About Us
Founded two years ago, Arc Dental was built on a singular conviction: exceptional dentistry must center on the individual, not just the procedure. Located in Surrey Hills, our purpose‑built practice rejects the sterile, clinical feel of traditional clinics. Instead, we have cultivated a calm, welcoming sanctuary designed to alleviate dental anxiety and elevate the entire patient experience.
We deliver a comprehensive spectrum of advanced care—ranging from preventive mastery and meticulous restorations to modern aesthetics, explicit aligners, implants, and sedation dentistry. Because we embrace a holistic, full‑mouth philosophy, our treatment plans are never rushed; they are thoughtful, tailored, and executed to the highest standard.
Joining us means becoming part of a forward‑thinking team that values trust, professional growth, and uncompromised quality of care.
The Role
- Advanced Clinical Partnership: Deliver expert chair‑side assistance across a comprehensive scope of procedures,
seamlessly integrating state‑of‑the‑art technology such as EMS Airflow and digital imaging.
- Executive Concierge & Reception: Serve as the welcoming face of the practice, expertly managing patient journeys, appointment coordination, and enquiries with warmth and discretion.
- Financial Administration: Accurately manage billing, health fund claims, and on‑the‑spot rebates with meticulous attention to detail.
- Uncompromising Clinical Safety: Uphold stringent sterilisation protocols and infection control standards to protect patient and team safety.
- Operational Synergy: Drive a smooth, efficient daily workflow by bridging clinical chair‑side support with front‑office administration.

Who We're Looking For
- Experience & Communication: A minimum of 1 year of dental experience backed by exceptional written and verbal English communication.
- Philosophy Alignment: A natural resonance with comprehensive, patient‑first care — recognizing that every clinical interaction involves a human being, not just a procedure.

Prior front‑desk or administrative experience within a dental or premier health setting is highly regarded.
- Emotional Intelligence: Poised interpersonal skills and a calming, reassuring presence that effortlessly diffuses patient anxiety.
- Composure & Initiative: The ability to balance multitasking across clinical and administrative duties with grace, clarity, and composure under pressure.
- Meticulous Precision: Unwavering attention to detail across infection control protocols, practice records, and schedule management.
- Collaborative Adaptability: A proactive, team‑first mindset suited to an agile, growing practice where your flexibility and input directly influence our success.

- State‑of‑the‑Art Environment: Work in a modern, purpose‑built practice equipped with advanced dental technology.
- Staff Parking: Convenient, secure underground parking available on‑site for all team members.
- Mentorship & Collaboration: Partner alongside skilled practitioners with diverse clinical backgrounds, expanding your professional horizons every day.
- Dedicated Growth: Tangible investments in your career through ongoing professional development, training, and clear paths for advancement.
