We are looking for a Service Technician who is reliable and motivated to join our busy team in Braeside. This role would suit a technically minded individual or tradesperson in the air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical or mechanical field who is looking for a change and willing to take on this role and make it their own. Your new role will be demanding and range from working onsite diagnosing and repairing pool robotic cleaners, suction cleaners, pool pumps and pool heaters etc. You will also be required to visit Pool Stores to offer training and customer premises to carry out various repairs. You are happy to deal with customers face to face, over the phone and via email. At times you may also be required in assisting customers at our trade counter and assist our warehouse team when required so yes, the job will be varied and offers a mixture of functionalities.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair of robotic and suction pools cleaners, pool heaters and pool pumps
- Prepare all documentation and computer transactions in D365 and Excel based spreadsheets
- Management of on-site spare parts
- Visit customer premises to carry out repairs
- Visit pool stores to offer training in the diagnosis and repair of robotic and suction pool cleaners
- Serving and assisting customers at our trade counter
- Assist in our main warehouse from time to time
About you
- Previous experience in a repair centre,
a technical aptitude or trade qualified
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A strong work ethic with reliable attendance
- Manual driver's license
- Ability to work autonomously and a decision maker
