Lead end-to-end export operations for fresh produce logistics, managing air and sea freight bookings, schedules and loading to keep consignments on time and customers satisfied.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and manage air and sea freight bookings, schedules and loading
- Solve problems quick to keep consignments on time and customers happy
- Oversee and carry out export documentation and compliance
- Build strong relationships with freight forwarders, shipping lines and customs brokers
- Manage horticulture export protocols, including packhouse, treatment facility (fumigation, cold treatment, irradiation) and on-farm accreditation
- Support regulatory and compliance audits
About you
- Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Horticulture export experience is a big plus
