3 days per week | Purpose-led organisation | Varied, hands-on role
If you love bringing people together, making things happen and knowing your work is contributing to something meaningful, this could be a really special opportunity.
Working with a well-known and highly regarded charity, this role will support the planning, coordination and delivery of a range of internally managed events and fundraising activities. No two weeks are likely to look exactly the same.
You could be helping coordinate an upcoming event one day, liaising with suppliers or supporters the next, preparing communications and event materials, or being right in the middle of things on event day helping everything run smoothly.
You’ll be involved in all internally delivered events in some capacity, giving you the chance to work across a broad and interesting mix of activities while contributing to work that has a genuine purpose behind it.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting the planning and delivery of events and fundraising activities
- Coordinating venues, suppliers, attendees and event logistics
- Preparing event materials, communications and run sheets
- Liaising with supporters, stakeholders, guests and internal teams
- Providing hands-on support before, during and after events
- Assisting with fundraising campaigns and activities
- Keeping the many moving parts organised and on track
- Helping create events that feel welcoming, professional and memorable
About you
You’ll be someone who enjoys being busy, takes pride in the details and genuinely loves helping things come together.
You’re likely to be:
- Warm, confident and great with people
- Highly organised and able to juggle multiple priorities
- Proactive, resourceful and happy to jump in where needed
- Calm and capable when things get busy
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Motivated by work that contributes to a bigger purpose
- Experience in events, fundraising, community engagement, administration or coordination would be highly regarded.
As events don’t always happen during standard office hours, there will be some out-of-hours work associated with event delivery, including occasional early starts or evenings.
For the right person, this is a lovely opportunity to combine organisation, people, events and purpose in a role where you can genuinely see the impact of the work you’re doing.
At peoplefusion, we don’t just accept diversity and inclusion, we celebrate it! We strive to create an environment of equal opportunity regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, lifestyle, age, religion, or physical ability, and welcome applications from people from all backgrounds.
