About the role
Reporting to the Director Clinical Governance and Compliance, you will provide leadership and oversight across clinical care, quality, compliance and operational performance.
This is an opportunity for an accomplished aged care professional to play a key leadership role in driving clinical excellence, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement, while supporting a positive, person-centred culture where residents receive safe, high-quality care.
Key responsibilities
- Leading the delivery of safe, high-quality and person-centred care
- Overseeing clinical governance, quality, risk and compliance activities
- Leading accreditation readiness and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with aged care legislation, standards and regulatory requirements
- Driving workforce performance, engagement and professional development
- Supporting robust AN-ACC, occupancy and broader operational outcomes
- Building a positive, accountable and resident-focused culture
About you
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated management experience within residential aged care
- Strong knowledge of aged care legislation, quality standards, compliance and clinical governance
- Experience with accreditation and continuous improvement processes
- Sound knowledge and experience with AN-ACC
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
- A genuine commitment to improving the quality of life and care outcomes for older people
