We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Estimator with a strong background in Civil Formwork, Reinforcement, and Concrete (FRP) works to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale civil infrastructure projects, contributing your expertise to deliver accurate and competitive tenders.
Key responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates for FRP works, including materials, labour, and equipment.
Analyse project specifications, drawings, and requirements to develop accurate tenders.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and commercial teams to ensure alignment with project goals.
Identify risks and opportunities within tender submissions and provide creative solutions.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, pricing, and industry standards.
Mentor and guide junior estimators to foster team growth and development.
Prepare detailed construction programmes to support estimating and tender submissions.
Provide detailed cost breakdowns and support project cost tracking following award.
About you
Minimum 10 years' experience in civil estimating, including extensive experience estimating Civil Formwork, Reinforcement and Concrete (FRP) works.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to assess tender risk, opportunities, subcontractor pricing and project margins.
Proven track record in tendering for large-scale infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and industry standards.
Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
