What you’ll bring:
- Minimum 5 years’ automotive workshop experience
- A Certificate III or higher in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
- Solid diagnostic, mechanical repair and result finding skills
- Proven ability to support workshop operations and lead by example
- Experience mentoring apprentices and junior technicians
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- A customer focused approach to selling mechanical repair work and converting recommendations into completed work
- Ability to coordinate and manage the workshop team when the Store Manager is absent
- Passionate about customer service and quality workmanship
- Unrestricted driver’s licence
- Available Monday to Friday and alternate Saturday mornings

What You'll Be Doing
- Service, maintain and repair a wide range of vehicles
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently
- Deliver high-quality workmanship every time
- Identify and confidently recommend and sell required mechanical repair work
- Complete job cards and workshop documentation accurately
- Follow manufacturer and warranty processes
- Help maintain a safe, organised and productive workshop environment
- Act as the Store Manager in their absence, ensuring smooth workshop operations and continuity of customer service
- Contribute to a positive team culture and high-performance standards
