What You'll Be Working On

This is an ideal prospect for someone who is seekinga rewarding role in a community-focused library environment, where they can contribute to collection development, resource management, and the delivery of exceptional customer service.

You will undertake the full range of library services activities encompassingresource acquisition and accessioning, supplier liaison, invoice and expenditure administration, cataloguing donations, and providing reference, lending,informationand reader advisory services to customers.

You will deliver key projects which directly supportthe accessibility,organisationand ongoing maintenance of theLibrarycollection through shelving, shelf checking, returns processing, and collaborative support across the broader Library Services Team.

What You'll Bring to the Role

To be successful in this role you will bring tertiary qualifications in Library and Information Science, experience using library management systems, and a strong customer service focus.

You will have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to provide reference and information services, work collaboratively in a team environment, and manage competing priorities effectively. Robust organisational skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and library technologies, and a commitment to continuous improvement and delivering high-quality service are essential.

In addition to the above, you will also holdWorking With Children Clearance.The position is identified as a Child-Related position under the Commission of Children and Young People Act 1998 and the successful candidate is required to hold a valid Working With Children Check.
