About the Role
CBR Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with TAFE Directors Australia (TDA) to recruit a high calibre Manager, Brand, Operations and IT. TDA is a peak national body representing Australia's TAFE institutes and university TAFE divisions.
They support member institutes, lead advocacy for quality skills in Australia, and manage professional development opportunities and thought leadership for members. TDA is driven by their values of collaboration, independence, integrity, and team cohesion.
This role is responsible for leading the business operations, IT systems, and brand management functions of TDA, ensuring the organisation's technology, processes, communications, and projects effectively support its strategic objectives and the National TAFE Network (NTN).
It oversees Microsoft 365 administration, digital system development, website and brand management, stakeholder relationships, event technology, and operational support, while driving continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience across business operations and IT management, strong technical skills in Microsoft 365, Share Point, websites, and digital workflows, along with excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and creative content development capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage TDA's business operations to support organisational performance and strategic objectives.
- Administer and maintain the Microsoft 365 environment, including Share Point, Teams and related systems.
- Design and implement digital systems, workflows and automation solutions to improve efficiency.
- Manage relationships with IT providers and other external contractors to ensure value for money and service quality.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of TDA and National TAFE Network branding, websites and digital assets.
- Create and manage communication materials, graphics, social media content and publication formatting.
- Provide technical and operational support for online and face-to-face events, including webinars and conventions.
- Support reporting, advocacy and governance activities through data collection, analysis and stakeholder engagement.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies, funding obligations, workplace legislation and skilled standards while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
What You Will Need
- Experience in business operations functions with emphasis on IT operations.
- Advanced skills in IT usage and implementation.
- Experience using Microsoft 365 and the Adobe Creative Suite.
- The ability to review and negotiate contracts.
- Experience in social media and web content management software.
- Capability to use relevant tools such as Word Press, Windows, MYOB, Zoom, and Mailchimp.
