The Opportunity
As a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist, you will provide high-quality specialist psychiatric services within high-security inpatient programs, working as part of an experienced multidisciplinary team.
- Providing specialist forensic psychiatric assessment and treatment.
- Delivering high-quality clinical care within high-security inpatient programs.
- Providing clinical leadership, mentoring and guidance to multidisciplinary teams.
- Contributing to comprehensive psychiatric assessment and treatment planning.
- Applying a recovery-oriented approach to patient care.
- Providing consultation-liaison services as required.
- Supporting the professional development and training of junior doctors and other medical staff.
- Contributing to clinical governance and the ongoing development of mental health services.
