Key Responsibilities

- Carryoutaccuratemechanicalinspectionsandfaultdiagnosisacrossarangeofvehicles
- Assessvehicleconditionandidentifyrequiredrepairsormaintenance
- Performservicing,repairsandcomponentreplacementstoprofessionalstandards
- Workonengines,transmissions,suspensionsystemsandothermechanicalcomponents
- Useautomotivediagnosticequipment,toolsandworkshopmachinerysafelyandeffectively
- Identifymechanicalissuesefficientlyandrecommendappropriaterepairsolutions
- Completeassignedworkwithstrongattentiontoquality,safetyandaccuracy
- Ensurerepairedvehiclesareoperatingcorrectlybeforecompletion




- Supportapprenticeandjuniortechniciansbysharingpracticalknowledgeandtechnicalguidance
- Maintainasafe,organisedandprofessionalworkshopenvironment
- Workcooperativelywithothermembersoftheautomotiveteam
- Followworkplaceprocedures,safetyrequirementsandqualitystandards

Requirements & Eligibility

- RelevantAustraliantradequalificationinMotorMechanicsoranequivalentrecognisedqualification
- Atleast2yearsofrelevantpracticalmotormechanicexperiencepreferred
- Demonstrablehands-onautomotiverepairanddiagnosticexperience
- Previousdealershiporprofessionalworkshopexperienceadvantageous
- Strongmechanicaltroubleshootingandproblem-solvingability
- Goodattentiontodetailandcommitmenttoreliableworkmanship
- Currentdriver'slicencewiththeabilitytooperatemanualandautomaticvehicles
- Abilitytoworkindependentlyandmanageassignedtasksresponsibly
- Abilitytoworkeffectivelywithinateamenvironment
