About the Role

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Materials & Safety Coordinator is a hands-on operational role supporting day-to-day warehouse and materials activities across ENTRI, together with coordination and administrative support for the workplace health and safety function. The role is predominantly focused on receiving, checking, receipting, labelling, storing, moving and issuing goods; maintaining accurate inventory and ERP records; and supporting internal and tenant material flows.



The position also supports the Industry Support Officer and WHS team on workplace inspections, hazard and incident reporting, WHS records, risk assessments, inductions, corrective actions and safety communications in close collaboration with ENTRI Operations and relevant TRI Health, Safety and Wellbeing resources. The role works within established procedures and escalates quality, inventory, safety and compliance issues to the appropriate functional lead.

This role is offered on a Permanent basis. It is Full-time 38 hours per week.

Key Selection Criteria

Experience

- Approximately 1-3 years of experience in warehousing, logistics, inventory control, supply chain support, stores or a comparable operational role.
- Hands-on experience receiving goods, checking deliveries, maintaining inventory and performing routine warehouse activities.
- Experience using an ERP (D365 preferred), warehouse management or inventory system to receipt goods and record inventory transactions.
- Demonstrated awareness of Work Health and Safety requirements, safe manual handling and good housekeeping practices.
- Experience in a cGMP, GDP, regulated, laboratory, scientific, biomedical, healthcare or manufacturing environment is desirable.
- Experience supporting WHS inspections,



risk assessments, incident/hazard reporting, inductions or corrective action tracking is desirable.
- Experience with dangerous goods, chemical storage, cold-chain materials or controlled storage environments is desirable.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or a comparable ERP platform is desirable.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate receipting, inventory records and documentation.
- Good organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage deliveries, routine warehouse tasks and administrative priorities.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and a helpful, service-oriented approach to tenants, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Practical understanding of safe warehouse practices, manual handling, storage, housekeeping and hazard identification.
- Ability to follow documented procedures, recognise deviations or unsafe conditions and escalated appropriately.
- Capacity to undertake routine warehouse and manual handling activities safely, using mechanical aids and approved controls as required.

Qualifications

- Relevant Certificate III/IV in warehousing, logistics, supply chain, business administration, work health and safety, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and training.
- A current Queensland driver licence or eligibility to obtain one.
