Boilermaker / Welder – Permanent Full-Time

TRS Resourcing is seeking a Trade-Qualified Boilermaker / Welder for a permanent full-time position with an established business in Melbourne’s northern suburbs.

This opportunity suits someone who enjoys hands-on fabrication, takes pride in their workmanship and is looking for consistent hours within an experienced workshop team.
The Role

You will undertake a variety of welding, fabrication and assembly tasks, working from engineering drawings and job specifications.
Your responsibilities will include:

- MIG welding and fabrication of mild steel
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Measuring, marking out and preparing materials
- Cutting, shaping and fitting components
- Completing fabrication and assembly work
- Operating workshop machinery and power tools
- Checking finished work for quality and accuracy
- Maintaining a safe and organised work area

About You

We welcome applications from qualified tradespeople with experience across a range of fabrication and workshop environments.
Ideally, you will have:

- A trade qualification in Boilermaking, Fabrication or a related discipline
- Sound MIG welding and mild steel fabrication skills




- The ability to work from engineering drawings
- Valuable mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and within a team
- A reliable approach and strong commitment to safety
- Australian working rights

Additional welding skills and relevant workshop licences or tickets will be regarded favourably.
