ConsultANZ is looking for a skilled Piling Project Manager with over 8 years of practical experience in CFA, Bored, Driven, and Diaphragm Wall techniques for major infrastructure developments across Queensland.
ABOUT YOU:
- Extensive hands-on expertise in piling and deep foundation systems.
- Demonstrated track record in contemporary piling solutions and geotechnical construction.
- Competent in managing engineering documentation and producing clear site reports.
- Collaborative and capable of leading multidisciplinary teams effectively.
- Highly organized with strong planning and time management capabilities.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Coordinate closely with engineering teams, site foremen, and supervisors to ensure successful execution of project blueprints.
- Monitor site activities to confirm compliance with technical specifications and quality benchmarks.
- Supervise the setup and safety of all temporary works.
- Create short-term construction plans to support efficient project delivery.
- Draft method statements and conduct risk assessments when required.
- Identify and record scope changes and additional work for inclusion in monthly progress claims.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date site diary detailing all relevant project events.
- Keep all project records well-documented and properly filed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 8 years’ post-graduate experience in civil engineering.
- Degree-qualified in civil engineering or a related discipline.
- Prior experience within the Australian or New Zealand construction sector.
- Strong background in self-delivered piling operations and ground improvement techniques.
- In-depth knowledge of civil engineering standards and construction methodologies.
OFFER:
- Attractive salary package reflecting the technical demands of the role.
- Base salary between $120,000 – $140,000 plus superannuation.
