This is a fantastic opportunity for a Nutritionist looking to make a meaningful contribution to community health while gaining valuable experience working within an Aboriginal Medical Service (AMS) and a culturally responsive remote healthcare setting.

Job details:

- Agency contract: October 2026 – 15 December2026
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience

- Deliver culturally appropriate nutrition education and health promotion activities
- Work with community groups, schools, local stores and other key stakeholders
- Provide nutrition information, resources and training to staff and community members
- Opportunities to visit surrounding communities and support local nutrition initiatives

To be eligible for the position, you must have the following:

- Qualifications or experience in Nutrition, Dietetics, Health Promotion, Public Health or a related field
- Experience delivering nutrition education or community health programs
- Solid communication and relationship-building skills
- An ability to work collaboratively with community members, health professionals and external organisations
- A culturally responsive and community-focused approach
- The ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Previous remote or Aboriginal health experience is highly regarded
