Curis Recruitment is excited to partner with this exceptional Aboriginal Medical Service in Western Australia to help them find a Child Health Registered Nurse to join their team on a permanent full-time basis.
This is an exciting opportunity if you are a Child Health Nurse who loves working for a family centered and culturally safe Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service.
Job Details:
- Salary of up to $136,500.00 per annum plus 12% Superannuation
- $2,000.00 Curis bonus
- Permanent FIFO position
- FIFO 6 on 2 off roster
- Return flights provided
- Fully furnished accommodation provided
- 13 weeks leave per annum
- Salary sacrifice up to $15,900 available
You will focus on preventative care, developmental screening, immunisation coordination, chronic disease management, and care coordination for children with complex needs.
Your Key Responsibilities will be to
- Deliver child health assessments and developmental screening
- Coordinate childhood immunisations
- Provide family and school health services
- Support children with complex health needs
- Deliver health promotion and education programs
- Work closely with communities, schools and visiting specialists.
To be eligible for this position you will have
- Current AHPRA Registration
- A Post-Grad in Child Health
- A minimum of 2 years working with Aboriginal communities and remote health services
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Current Manual Driver's Licence
- Ability to travel by 4WD and charter aircraft.
