Our client is seeking a Lawyer or Associate to join its Wills & Estates practice in Sydney CBD.

Offering a mix of contentious and non-contentious matters, this role will suit a lawyer looking to broaden their experience, manage their own caseload and work closely with Partners. You will help clients navigate sensitive issues, resolve disputes and plan for the future.

The role

Your work will include:

- Managing estate disputes, including family provision claims, will validity challenges, testamentary capacity and undue influence matters.
- Preparing pleadings, affidavits, court applications and briefs to counsel.
- Participating in mediations and dispute resolution conferences.
- Advising executors, administrators and beneficiaries on their rights, obligations and litigation risks.




- Drafting wills, testamentary trusts, enduring powers of attorney and guardianship documents.
- Advising on estate planning, wealth and business succession.
- Handling probate and letters of administration applications, estate administration and trust matters.
- Building strong client relationships through clear, practical and empathetic advice.

About you
You will bring:

- At least three years’ experience in wills and estates law.
- A current NSW practising certificate.
- Robust knowledge of estate planning, probate and succession law.
- Excellent drafting, communication and negotiation skills.
- Confidence managing multiple matters independently while collaborating with Partners and colleagues.
- An empathetic approach to supporting clients through sensitive matters.

Further qualifications or specialisation in wills and estates will be highly regarded.
