Mechanical Engineer – Building Services - Melbourne | Leading Engineering Consultant

This is an opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join an established Building Services team working across a diverse portfolio of technically challenging and high-profile projects.

We are looking for an engineer who wants more than simply a role — someone who wants to work alongside experienced engineers, take ownership of projects and continue developing their technical and project delivery capabilities.

The Opportunity
You will be involved in the design and delivery of mechanical building services across a range of projects, working closely with clients, architects and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Mechanical services design across commercial, institutional, residential and mixed-use projects
- HVAC, ventilation and associated mechanical building services
- Developing designs, calculations, specifications and technical documentation
- Working with Revit and other industry-standard design software
- Coordinating mechanical services with architectural, structural and other building services disciplines
- Attending project meetings and liaising with clients and project stakeholders
- Supporting project delivery from concept through to construction
- Contributing to design reviews, quality assurance and technical problem solving

What We're Looking For We're interested in speaking with Mechanical Engineers who have:

- Relevant Mechanical Engineering qualifications
- Experience within Building Services / Building Services Consulting
- Strong understanding of mechanical services design principles
- Experience delivering projects within a consulting engineering environment




- Strong communication and coordination skills
- A proactive approach to project delivery and technical problem solving
- The ambition to continue developing technically and professionally
