Are you an experienced Property Manager who would love the opportunity to build a portfolio properly from the very beginning?
A growing boutique agency is establishing its property management division and is looking for an experienced Property Manager to take ownership of each current management as it comes into the business.
Rather than inheriting an overloaded portfolio, unresolved maintenance or someone else’s systems, you will have the opportunity to create a clean, organised and well-managed portfolio from day one.
The Perks
- Build a portfolio from the ground up
- No inherited backlog or existing portfolio issues
- No business development or prospecting required
- Monday to Friday position
- Salary open to discussion based on experience
- Work directly alongside a supportive Director
- Autonomy to implement structure and create efficient processes
- Make a genuine impact as the property management division expands
- Long-term opportunity to grow with the business
The Person
This opportunity would suit a capable Property Manager who takes pride in running an organised portfolio and enjoys having genuine ownership of their role.
To be considered, you will need:
- A minimum of two years’ end-to-end residential property management experience
- A current NSW Certificate of Registration or Class 2 Real Estate Licence
- Strong knowledge of residential tenancy legislation and compliance
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Confident communication with landlords, tenants and trades
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- A proactive approach to establishing systems and processes
- A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
- A valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
The Role
Working closely with a supportive Director, you will oversee the full property management process as the portfolio grows.
The Director will handle all business development and bring new managements into the agency, allowing you to focus entirely on delivering an exceptional service to landlords and tenants.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing new properties as they are onboarded
- Establishing organised processes and maintaining accurate records
- Liaising with landlords, tenants and trades
- Conducting routine, ingoing and outgoing inspections
- Coordinating repairs and maintenance
- Managing lease renewals, arrears and tenancy matters
- Ensuring the portfolio remains compliant and well maintained
- Building strong, long-term relationships with clients
- Providing a high level of communication and customer service
The Company
Our client is a growing boutique real estate agency with a strong local presence and clear plans to expand its property management division.
You will work closely with a hands-on Director who will generate the new business, support the portfolio’s growth and give you the autonomy to create a property management service you can be proud of.
This opportunity is being managed confidentially. Further information will be provided to suitable candidates following an initial conversation.
