The service is now looking for an experienced clinical leader who can provide stability, clear direction and practical support to the team while keeping client care at the centre of every decision. The chance:

This role has been created for an experienced Senior Registered Nurse who can step into a service requiring confident leadership, relationship rebuilding and practical change management. Initially, you will focus on understanding the current operating environment, identifying immediate risks and putting the right foundations in place for safe, consistent and responsive care.

- Help the team rebuild trust, understand who is responsible for what and follow through on agreed expectations.
- Look closely at how clinical care is delivered, identifying gaps in day-to-day practice and ways of working.
- Identify immediate risks to clients and clinical governance, with clear actions and escalation pathways for concerns.
- Put straightforward processes in place so clients receive reliable, high-quality care regardless of who is supporting them.
- Review the needs of the current client group, particularly people with more complex care requirements, and check that their services remain appropriate.
- Bring clinical input into the full client journey, so it informs care planning and service decisions rather than sitting apart from them.
- Introduce a more consistent approach to budget and service reviews, checking that each client has the right support for their safety, independence and quality of life.
- Work with local leaders on a 90-day plan that sets out what needs to happen first, who will take responsibility and how progress will be measured.

About you:

You are a senior Registered Nurse who can bring calm, clarity and credibility to a challenging environment. You are comfortable addressing difficult issues respectfully, setting professional expectations and helping people move forward together.

- AHPRA Registered Nurse
- Senior leadership experience as a Clinical Manager, Practice Manager, Clinical Care Partner, Clinical Advisor or similar.
- Background in community aged care, home care, multidisciplinary healthcare or a comparable service environment.
- Strong understanding of clinical governance, risk management and safe care delivery.
- Confidence reviewing clinical records, care plans, scope-of-practice requirements and service pathways.
- A balanced approach that considers client outcomes, clinical requirements, workforce realities and operational needs.
