The Position
Your initial focus will be delivering data centre projects using Tridium Niagara and Distech controllers, with involvement across the full project lifecycle.
Responsibilities will include:
- Working with clients and project teams to understand requirements and develop control system solutions
- Preparing functional descriptions, control sequences and engineering documentation
- Programming and configuring Niagara systems and Distech controllers
- Integrating controllers, equipment and associated systems
- Carrying out factory and site acceptance testing, commissioning and fault finding
- Supporting project handover, client training and ongoing technical support
You will also have the opportunity to move into industrial automation projects, building experience with Siemens, Rockwell Automation, Schneider Electric and Inductive Automation products,
including Ignition SCADA.
About You
You will bring hands-on experience with Tridium Niagara, ideally supported by experience programming and commissioning Distech controllers.
You may currently be working as a BMS Engineer, Controls Engineer, Project Engineer or Commissioning Engineer and be looking to broaden your experience.
You will also have:
- Experience in control system design, programming, integration, testing and commissioning
- An understanding of HVAC control sequences and building management systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a practical approach to project delivery
- The ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors and engineering teams
- An interest in developing your PLC, SCADA and industrial automation expertise
Data centre experience will be highly regarded. Existing industrial automation experience would be beneficial, with scope to develop these skills within the role.
