The Company

Paragon Talent Solutions is supporting an established systems integrator delivering control systems and industrial automation solutions across data centres, manufacturing and food & beverage.
Following significant growth over the past 12 months, our client is seeking Control Systems Engineers with Ignition SCADA experience to join their Sydney and Melbourne teams.

With a growing project portfolio, the business offers opportunities to take ownership of engineering activities, broaden your technical capability and develop professionally.

The Position

You will deliver control systems projects across the full lifecycle, from understanding client requirements and developing functional designs through programming, integration, testing, commissioning and handover.

Ignition SCADA will be a key focus, alongside PLC and other automation technologies used across greenfield and brownfield projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Developing functional specifications, control philosophies and engineering documentation
- Designing, configuring and programming Ignition SCADA applications
- Programming and integrating PLC, SCADA and HMI systems
- Developing graphics, alarms, trends and reporting to meet project requirements
- Carrying out FAT, SAT, commissioning and system troubleshooting
- Working closely with clients,



project managers and engineering teams to deliver practical solutions
- Supporting project handover, documentation and ongoing system improvements

You can also expect exposure to other platforms, including Siemens, Rockwell and Schneider products.

About You

You will bring hands-on control systems experience and enjoy combining technical delivery with client engagement.

Ideally, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience developing and delivering Ignition SCADA applications
- PLC programming knowledge with Siemens, Rockwell and/or Schneider platforms
- Experience across design, programming, integration, testing and commissioning
- A background within systems integration, industrial automation or a similar project environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Clear communication skills and confidence discussing technical requirements with clients
- Relevant engineering qualifications or an equivalent technical background
