Avina might be a new name, but you may already know some of our teams. Therapy Pro, Adaptability Therapy and Tashacare have come together as Avina — one national allied health and behaviour support community with 400+ clinicians across NSW, QLD, VIC and SA.
We deliver Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Dietetics and Positive Behaviour Support across community, clinic and telehealth settings.

About the Role We’re looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our established multidisciplinary team in Penrith, working across a flexible mix of clinic, community and home-based therapy throughout Western Sydney, Nepean, Hawkesbury and the Blue Mountains.
You’ll work across the lifespan with a varied caseload shaped around participant needs and your clinical interests, with opportunities across Functional Capacity Assessments, assistive technology, sensory and mobility assessments, falls prevention, and fine and gross motor development.

Our Penrith team brings together OTs, Speech Pathologists, Behaviour Support Practitioners, Psychology and Physiotherapy, with genuine opportunities to work collaboratively across disciplines.
The team describes itself as supportive, collaborative and purpose-driven, with plenty of humour along the way. There are fortnightly team meetings, regular lunches and activities,
discipline-specific Communities of Practice, and many team members have been with us for three years or longer.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver person-centred OT across clinic, community and telehealth settings
- Work across the lifespan with a varied caseload
- Complete assessments, intervention planning and ongoing therapy
- Support participants to build independence and achieve meaningful goals
- Work closely with families, carers and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with your local multidisciplinary team
- Manage your caseload with flexibility and autonomy

What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA registration, or eligibility if graduating
- NDIS Worker Screening and Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain
- Driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- A curious, collaborative and person-centred approach
