VR GP — The Gap, Brisbane

Five GPs, one practice manager, a nurse on site, and a team that's actually close rather than just described that way in the ad. We're adding a doctor and we're genuinely open on how you work: weekdays, weekends, a couple of sessions or a full week. Weekend availability is a bonus, not a requirement.

What you'd earn: 75% of billings or $170 per hour guaranteed, whichever is greater. No downside while your book builds.

The practice: mixed billing in The Gap Village Shopping Centre, with parking at the door. Best Practice and HotDoc, in office pathology and allied health, fully equipped treatment room. The admin and nursing support is the kind that means you're consulting rather than chasing results.

The patients: The Gap is settled and family-heavy, backing onto Brisbane Forest Park, 20 minutes from the CBD. People stay, which means continuity and chronic disease work rather than a conveyor belt of one-off consults.

You'll need: FRACGP or FACRRM, AHPRA specialist registration, Medicare provider number eligibility.
