WeareseekinganexperiencedandmotivatedBricklayertojoinagrowingconstructionteaminWesternAustralia.Thisfull-timeopportunityoffersthechancetoworkonavarietyofresidential,commercialandindustrialprojects,deliveringhigh-qualitybrickworkandmasonrysolutions.Thesuccessfulcandidatewillworkalongsideskilledtradespeopleinasafety-focusedenvironmentthatvaluesqualityworkmanship,teamworkandprofessionaldevelopment.

Key Responsibilities

- Laybricks,concreteblocksandstoneusingmortartoconstructandrepairstructures
- Readandinterpretconstructiondrawings,plansandspecifications
- Measure,markandalignmaterialstoensureaccurateinstallation
- Usehandtoolsandpowertoolssafelyandefficiently
- Checkcompletedworkusinglevels,plumblinesandmeasuringequipment
- Constructbrickworktorequiredbuildingstandardsandprojectspecifications
- Finish,cleanandpointjointstoachievedurableandhigh-qualityfinishes
- Prepareworkareasandassistwithmaterialhandlingasrequired
- Maintaintoolsandequipmentingoodworkingcondition




- Followworkplacehealthandsafetyproceduresatalltimes
- Keepworksitesclean,organisedandcompliantwithsafetyrequirements
- Workcollaborativelywithsupervisorsandothertradestoachieveprojectdeadlines
- Deliverqualityworkmanshipwhilemaintainingproductivityandattentiontodetail

Requirements & Eligibility

- ProvenexperienceasaBricklayeronresidential,commercialorindustrialconstructionprojects
- Relevanttradequalificationorcompletedbricklayingapprenticeship
- Strongknowledgeofbricklayingmethods,mortarpreparationandbondingtechniques
- Abilitytoreadandinterpretconstructiondrawingsandtechnicalspecifications
- Experienceusingbricklayinghandtoolsandpowertoolssafely
- UnderstandingofAustralianbuildingstandardsandworkplacehealthandsafetypractices
- Currentdriver'slicence
- Physicallyfitandcapableofperformingmanualworkinvaryingweatherconditions
- Strongattentiontodetailandcommitmenttoproducinghigh-qualityworkmanship
- Goodcommunicationskillsandabilitytoworkeffectivelywithinateam
- Experienceindecorativebrickwork,customconstructionorheritagerestorationisadvantageous
- CurrentWhiteCardandFirstAidcertificationareadvantageous
