Liverpool Hospital's Haematology Service is launching a brand-new CAR T-Cell Therapy Service, and we're seeking a highly organised, compassionate and proactive Administrative Officer to support this exciting and innovative program. Working closely with the CAR T-Cell Specialists and Haematology Office Manager, you'll play a key role in coordinating patient journeys, supporting clinical teams and helping ensure the smooth delivery of a life-changing treatment service.

What you'll be doing
The Administration Officer provides effective administrative and office support services to the CAR T-Cell Specialists of the Haematology Consulting Rooms, whilst ensuring all tasks undertaken are managed in a timely manner. Assist the Haematology Office Manager with the provision of training, support and advice for other admin staff members in departmental processes to support effective service delivery.

1. Demonstrated administration or secretarial experience within a healthcare or similar environment, including the effective coordination of diary management, roster management, travel and meeting arrangements, minute taking and digital transcription services.
2. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with senior medical staff in the daily triaging of outpatient treatment referrals to ensure timely and effective treatment bookings are managed to meet essential targets.
3. Demonstrated proficiency in word processing and computer applications, with the ability to effectively use and quickly learn the digital systems. This may be complemented by recent experience in the use of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Outlook) and mainframe systems (MOSAIQ, eMR, HealthRoster, iProcurement) and Medicare electronic billing systems (HICAPS).

Demonstrated ability to perform a broad range of administrative tasks in a high-volume work environment with competing priorities, whilst working under general instructions with minimal supervision.
5. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills, with the ability to build effective working relationship and interact confidently, professionally, and courteously with a diverse range of stakeholders.
