WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Enaex Australia is seeking an organised, hands-on and proactive Storeperson / Inventory Controller to join our Maintenance team based in Kewdale, WA.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager - West, you’ll play an important role in making sure the right parts are ordered, received, recorded and dispatched to our sites when they’re needed. Working closely with Maintenance Supervisors and mobile mechanics, your work will directly support asset availability and keep our operational teams moving.
This is more than a traditional stores role. You'll take ownership of inventory accuracy, support manufacturing plant stock control, coordinate procurement and dispatch activities, and travel to operational sites to undertake stock counts and inventory audits. You’ll also have the opportunity to identify suppliers that deliver better value through improvements in both pricing and quality.
We’re looking for someone who loves organisation, takes pride in getting the details right, and understands that great inventory management can make a genuine difference to operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the ordering, receipt, storage and dispatch of parts and inventory to support maintenance and operational requirements.
- Monitor site stock levels, complete timely reorders and ensure critical parts remain available to support asset availability.
- Manage inventory transfers, receipting, purchase order amendments and the accurate issue of parts across Enaex sites.
- Maintain accurate work orders and inventory records, advising Maintenance Supervisors when required parts become available.
- Conduct site cycle counts, stocktakes and inventory audits, investigating and correcting stock discrepancies.
- Support Pronto inventory administration, monthly reporting and continuous improvement across stores and procurement processes.
Ideally you will have;
- Previous experience in warehousing, stores, inventory or procurement.
- A current Forklift Operator ticket.
- Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate inventory, purchasing and work order records.
- Experience using Pronto ERP or a similar inventory management system will be highly regarded.
