Join the Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley as our Principal Planner and play a key role in shaping the future of Kununurra, Wyndham and the broader East Kimberley. Reporting to the Manager Planning and Regulatory Services, you will provide senior technical leadership across statutory and strategic planning, manage complex planning matters and support the delivery of a responsive, high-quality planning service.

You’ll lead and mentor planning staff, oversee development applications and strategic planning projects, provide expert advice to Council, government agencies, developers and the community, and contribute to regional planning outcomes across tourism, infrastructure, growth and land use.

We’re seeking an experienced planning skilled with substantial statutory and strategic planning experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a tertiary qualification in town planning or a related discipline.
