The Prospect
This is a 6-month labour hire opportunity to join the agency’s finance team. The role is focused on accounts receivable, and in a small team you’ll manage the end to end function. They have a small finance team that work closely together and with the broader organisation as well.
The Role
Your key duties will include:
- Creating customers and invoices, and preparing debt reports and statements.
- Reviewing invoices and payments in the FMIS and entering manual transactions.
- Monitoring for duplicate payments and coordinating cost recovery.
- Providing customer service and FMIS training to colleagues and clients.
- Updating procedure guides and testing system and process improvements.
The Ideal Person
You will be a high performing accounts receivable officer in federal government experience who enjoys working in a small team environment and takes pride in delivering strong outcomes. A high level of attention to detail is essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are equally important as being able to work within the team will be critical to your success in this role. You will also be able to think independently to solve problems and show initiative. Previous experience with TechnologyOne will be highly desirable.

Salary
- $45 – $55 / hr + Super
