The Co-Group are seeking reliable and compassionate Disability Support Workers to support NDIS participants across Southwest Sydney, including Gregory Hills, Campbelltown, Oran Park, Narellan and Liverpool.

Experience supporting young adults with mental disabilities, as well as non-verbal participants and participants requiring wheelchair is preferrable. Duties include personal care, feeding and PEG feeding, medication assistance, epilepsy management, manual handling and community access, including participation in the day program. Hours vary day to day, with rosters provided at least two weeks in advance, and availability between 7:00am and 8:00pm is required.

Requirements

– Valid Driver’s Licence

– Access to a comprehensive insured car with 5 seats

– NDIS Module – Quality, Safety & You

– NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) for paid employment





– NSW Working with Children Check for paid employment

– Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

– Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours using approved techniques.
