Summary:

With significant growth in the past 24 months we are seeking a motivated Lawyer specialising Workers Compensation to join our dynamic legal team in Sydney CBD. This permanent, full time position offers an excellent opportunity for a mid-level legal professional with at least 2- 3 years experience to develop their expertise in a supportive environment, contributing to our commitment to providing exceptional legal services to our clients. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting clients with their workers compensation claims, ensuring they receive the support and guidance they need during challenging times.

Responsibilities:





- Assist clients in navigating the workers compensation process, providing legal advice and support.
- WID and Public Liability experience desirable.
- Draft and review legal documents, including claims, submissions, and correspondence.
- Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
- Represent clients in negotiations and hearings, advocating for their rights and entitlements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.
- Collaborate with senior lawyers and other team members to develop case strategies.
- Stay informed about changes in legislation and industry practices related to workers compensation.
- Excellent advocacy skills and proven file management experience.
- An ability to think strategically to identify growth opportunities.
- Strong client-facing and communication skills.
- Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification.
- Admission to practice as a solicitor in New South Wales.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in workers compensation or personal injury law.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
