Integrated Support Solutions WA Pty ATF ISS WA Unit Trust

Balcatta

You’re tired of doing the same thing day in, day out.

You became an OT to make a difference but you don’t want to burn out, be micromanaged, or feel stuck repeating the same tasks on autopilot.

At Integrated Support Solutions WA, we’re building a place where OTs can grow with real support, flexibility, and work that actually matters.

This role suits an OT who is experienced in the community disability, mental health, and justice sectors.

What you care about (and what we offer)

Growth without being thrown in the deep end

We don’t expect you to “just figure it out”.

You’ll get:

- Regular supervision and mentoring from senior OTs
- Time and support to properly understand the NDIS Space to explore your interests and build specialist skills over time
- A team culture where asking questions is encouraged (and expected)

Meet your Colleagues

You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team in an open-plan office — including OTs, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, PBS Practitioners and Support Coordinators. If you’re stuck on a question, support is right there!

Surrounded by OT’s with experience:

- One of our seniors has specialist experience in high cost, complex AT, including creative seating solutions and specialist sporting equipment – sense check complex AT recommendations from people who understand innovative high stakes solutions.
- Whilst another has worked in OT and PBS, with advanced skills in sensory processing assessment and intervention. And has recently started working with emerging technologies, including upper limb myoelectric prosthetics.
- One of our OT’s, who has been here since the early days of ISSW, specialises in complex home modifications and SDA, navigating high risk,

high impact environments – walk floor plans together to problem solve home mods.
- Extensive experience in complex mental health and forensic OT, with strong risk awareness, use of evidence-based interventions and an understanding of the justice-setting.
- A recent addition to the team has shown strong capacity building focus, spanning community and forensic settings, group programs, and student education – if you have an idea for a group he is the one to talk to.

There’s no hierarchy or competition here.

We value curiosity, asking questions, and learning together — especially when something feels complex or unfamiliar.

️ Where you will work.

When you’re in the office, you’ll be based in a purpose-built space designed for real OT work, not a corporate, sterile clinic.

- Large kitchen space, with accessible features that can be used for 1:1 sessions and groups
- Accessible bathroom for personal care assessments and assitive technology trials
- Large functional re-training and strength & conditioning gym (yes, staff use it before and after work!)
- No hot-desking here, feel free to put up a picture of your dog and make the space your own.

Real flexibility (not just “hybrid” on paper)

Work from home some days, office or community

- Full time or part time options
- Bring your kids to work’ days during school holidays.

- Your workload is adjusted to where you’re actually at and what you actually want to do – If there’s an area you want to develop, we’ll support you!

Work that’s interesting and meaningful

You won’t be stuck doing the same thing over and over.

You’ll work across:

- Justice settings and prison based work
- Complex mental health
- Home modifications and complex assistive technology
- Working alongside community partners to get people back to the things they care about — often outside the office setting. Sometimes your “office” is the Perth hills — assessing seating and transfers so someone can ride an adaptive mountain bike again.

The practical stuff (so you don’t have to guess)

- Competitive salary (based on experience) + super + performance incentives
- Phone, laptop and access to company vehicles
- Free parking at the Balcatta office
- Paid professional development leave
- Manageable caseloads and realistic expectations

This role is a good fit if you…

✅ Want to keep learning and get better every year

✅ Like the idea of working with diverse people and real community impact

✅ Value flexibility, grwoth and support

✅ Are okay stepping into complex spaces with the right backing

You’ll need:

- AHPRA registration
- WA C or A Class Driver’s Licence
- NDIS Worker Screening Check + WWCC (or willing to get them)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as an Occupational Therapist

If you’re curious — that’s enough

You don’t need to tick every box to apply.

If you’re motivated, values driven, and ready to grow into the kind of OT you want to be — we’d genuinely love to hear from you.
