We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to oversee the cleaning operations at our client’s site – Mecca stores. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, and that all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness. The Cleaning Supervisor will also be responsible for managing a team of cleaners, ensuring that they are trained, motivated, and working to the best of their abilities. The working hours will be: Wednesday 9 AM – 5:30 PM; Thursday to Sunday 11 AM – 7 PM
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the cleaning operations in the store, ensuring that all areas are cleaned to a high standard
- Manage a team of cleaners, providing training, motivation, and support as required
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard
- Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that they are well-maintained and replaced as required
- Conduct regular inspections of all areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained
- Respond to cleaning emergencies and requests for additional cleaning services as required
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and supplies, and prepare reports as required
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in a supervisory role in the cleaning industry
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and supplies
- Appropriate work rights in Australia
- Ability to work for the following shifts: Wednesday 9 AM – 5:30 PM; Thursday to Sunday 11 AM – 7 PM
