ClearGlaze is currently seeking a reliable and practical Trades Assistant / Labourer to join our growing glazing team in Sydney. This role offers hands-on experience in a specialised trade, with a focus on teamwork, care, and attention to quality.
About the Role:
As a Trades Assistant / Labourer, you’ll work with experienced glaziers to handle and install glass panels and framing systems. You’ll help ensure smooth site operations and contribute to high-quality outcomes on every project.
Duties Include:
- Assisting with lifting, moving, and installing glass panels and materials
- Supporting tradespeople with tools, prep work, and job site setup
- Maintaining a tidy and organised work setting
- Following ClearGlaze procedures and sensible work practices
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in the construction industry (Sydney-based experience preferred)
- Physically strong and fit – able to manage manual tasks as required
- Good spatial awareness and attention to detail
- White Card (Construction Induction) – mandatory
- Responsible approach to tasks and working with others
- Reliable, punctual and team-focused
- Driver’s licence and own transport preferred but not required
