Role Purpose

The ICT Business Analyst is responsible for investigating, analysing, and documenting business functions, processes, and information systems to identify opportunities for improvement. This role bridges the gap between business needs and ICT solutions by gathering requirements, evaluating options, and recommending technology‑enabled strategies that enhance efficiency, compliance, and organisational performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Engage with stakeholders to capture, clarify, and document business requirements for ICT systems and processes.
- Analyse existing workflows, data flows, and system functionality to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and solution designs for technical teams.
- Support project planning by preparing feasibility studies,



cost–benefit analyses, and risk assessments.
- Facilitate communication between business units, developers, and management to ensure shared understanding of requirements.
- Contribute to testing and quality assurance activities by validating solutions against documented requirements.
- Monitor compliance of ICT systems with organisational policies, audit standards, and regulatory frameworks.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and documentation to inform decision‑making and track project outcomes.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements)

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, or a related discipline.
- Equivalent industry experience with recognised vendor certifications may be considered.
- Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies and ICT systems.
- Familiarity with project management frameworks (Agile, Scrum, PRINCE2) is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex business needs into practical ICT solutions.
