About the Role
We are looking for experienced and reliable Support Workers to join our team across Perth's south-east and eastern suburbs.
This role would suit someone who is a confident all-rounder and enjoys supporting clients both in their homes and within the community.
You will provide a range of NDIS supports based on each client's individual needs, which may include:
- Personal care and assistance with daily living
- Community access and participation
- Supporting clients to attend appointments and activities
- Shopping and errands
- Meal preparation
- Domestic assistance
- Social and recreational activities
- Companionship and social support
- Supporting clients to develop and maintain independence
- Working in accordance with individual support plans
Previous experience providing personal care is an essential requirement for this role.
We are particularly interested in hearing from Support Workers who have availability of at least 3 days a week, are reliable and enjoy building long-term relationships with their clients.
Early morning, daytime and late evening shifts may be available, with opportunities for consistent ongoing work for the right person.
About You
You will ideally be an experienced Support Worker who:
- Has demonstrated experience providing personal care
- Has experience supporting people with community access
- Is confident working across a variety of NDIS support needs
- Has a caring, calm and respectful approach
- Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
- Is confident working independently in clients' homes
- Has excellent communication skills
- Understands the importance of client choice, dignity and independence
- Has positive availability and is willing to work a range of shifts
- Enjoys building genuine and professional relationships with clients and their families
Minimum Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
- Demonstrated personal care experience
- Minimum of a Cert III (or IV) in Disability, Individual Support or Aged Care
- Current NDIS Worker Screening
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain)
- Driver's licence & reliable vehicle
- A genuine passion for person-centred care
