Operational Contract Risk Analyst - Sydney, NSW

The Opportunity
Support operational contract risk management through professional analysis, reporting and risk advisory services. This role provides the opportunity to contribute to consistent risk management practices, strengthen contractor oversight and support informed decision-making within a complex operational environment.

What You'll Do
• Analyse contractor risk information and prepare reports for senior management to support risk-based decision making.
• Support the management and utilisation of enterprise risk information systems, including risk reporting and data analysis.
• Conduct contractor risk assessments, maintain risk registers and prepare risk reports and supporting documentation.
• Facilitate risk workshops, undertake research and provide analysis to identify trends and emerging risks.
• Provide advice and support on contractor risk management standards, practices and procedures.
• Develop recommendations and contribute to business planning to support effective risk mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and report on risk mitigation plans, identifying improvement opportunities and supporting ongoing risk management activities.

What We're Looking For
• Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in risk management or equivalent management responsibilities within a high-risk environment.
• Understanding of risk management frameworks,



strategies and practices.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex contractor and operational risk information.
• Experience building relationships with executives, stakeholders, regulators and internal teams.
• Ability to facilitate risk workshops and communicate risk concepts to varied audiences.
• Robust written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide clear recommendations and reports.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, sensitive information and complex stakeholder requirements.

Role Details
• Location: Milsons Point and Parramatta, Sydney, NSW.
• Working arrangement: Hybrid, 50% in office.
• Contract duration: Initial contract until 11/11/2026, with potential 3-month extension.
• Start date: ASAP.
