Medical Radiology Receptionist (Derrimut/Deer Park/Braybrook/Sunshine)

Join the dynamic team at proRAD as a full time Medical Receptionist (Radiology) based in Melbourne's West. In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, managing all front-of-house duties and ensuring a positive patient experience. With a focus on excellent customer service, this position is integral to the smooth operation of the radiology clinic.

What you'll be doing

- Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Booking appointments and managing patient schedules
- Handling patient inquiries and providing information about services and procedures
- Preparing and maintaining patient files and medical records
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as invoicing, filing, and data entry
- Ensuring the reception and waiting areas are well-presented and organised
- Providing general support to the radiology team as required

What we're looking for

- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a customer service or medical receptionist role




- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with patients from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to manage a busy clinic environment
- Proficient in using medical software and standard office technology
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures (desirable)
- A warm, friendly and professional demeanour with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care
