We are looking for an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our sheet metal and fabrication team.
This is a full-time position suitable for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, can work independently, and is comfortable working in a busy fabrication environment.
About the Role:
- MIG and Tig welding and general fabrication
- Welding mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium where required
- Reading and understanding fabrication drawings
- Cutting, grinding, drilling and preparing components
- Measuring and checking finished components
- Fabricating frames, brackets and other sheet metal products
- Using workshop tools and fabrication equipment safely
- Maintaining good weld quality and finish
- Following workplace safety procedures
- Working independently and as part of the production team
About You:
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous welding and fabrication experience minimum 2 years
- Ability to read engineering/fabrication drawings
- Valuable measuring and fabrication skills
- Experience using grinders, drills and workshop equipment
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Good understanding of workplace safety
- Experience working in a sheet metal or manufacturing environment will be highly regarded.
