Job Opportunity - Security Guard (Hospital and Airport Security Roles Available)

Location : Newcastle and Lake Macquarie

Employment Type : Casual

Shift Availability (Casual): Day, Night & Weekend Shifts

Hours: 20 - 30+ hours for the right candidate

NHN Group is seeking highly motivated Security Guards to provide professional and high-standard security services across hospital and airport environments. Role Overview:

- Monitor and manage access to designated secured and restricted areas in accordance with site procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a professional and visible security presence to support the safety of patients, visitors, staff and passengers.
- Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, alarms, disturbances, and requests for assistance.
- Assist with conflict resolution and de-escalation of challenging situations while maintaining a calm and professional approach.
- Report any operational concerns or suspicious behaviour to the Security Contact.
- Maintain accurate and detailed incident reports in line with SOPs.
- Act as a mobile deterrent to unauthorised access and provide a visible security presence across the site.

About You:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

- A current NSW Security Licence.
- A valid Provide First Aid Certificate.
- A current driver’s licence and reliable transport.
- Strong communication and situational awareness skills

Highly Regarded:

- Experience in Hospital, Aviation or Critical Infrastructure Security
- Holds a Red ASIC Card
- Experience in patrols
