Job Title: Mobile Crushing & Screening - Field Service Technician

Location: Gold Coast & Regional Field Service (Onsite & Travel Required)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Roster: Monday to Friday with Saturdays on occasion when required

About the Role

We are seeking a industry qualified Service Technicianspecialising inmobile crushing and screening equipment. In this role, you won't be stuck in one workshop. You will operate as a key field asset, travelling to various client sites to keep vital processing plants running safely and at peak efficiency.

If you love technical troubleshooting, variety in your work day, this position is for you. We have a large diverse range of mobile crushing an screening plant as well mobile pugmill blenders, and concrete batching plants

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Repair: Conduct breakdown repairs, routine servicing, and major overhauls on mobile jaw crushers, cone crushers, screens, and stackers.

Diagnostics: Troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic, track, and electrical faults on site.

Component Replacement: Efficiently replace worn or damaged parts including bearings, liners, conveyor belts, and hydraulic cylinders.

Travel & Autonomy: Travel frequently to remote and regional quarrying, mining, or recycling sites, often working independently.

Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to onsite safety regulations, completing take-5 risk assessments and maintaining accurate service reports.

What We Are Looking For

Trade Qualification: Australian Recognised Heavy Plant, Mobile Plant,



Fitter Trade Certificate.

Equipment Experience: Proven experience diagnosing and maintaining major mobile crushing and screening brands (e.g., Powerscreen, Terex, Sandvik, Metso, McCloskey).

Technical Skills: Robust proficiency with advanced hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and auto-electrical fault finding.

Licences: Valid Manual Driver’s Licence (HR licence is highly regarded) and a current White Card.

Attributes: A self-starter mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to a zero-harm safety culture.

To be successful for this position:

Current Trade certificate - Mechanical Fitter, Diesel Mechanics in Heavy Plant or equivalent

Ideally have at least 4 years’ experience in a similar position

Have a positive attitude and willing to learn

This is a full‑time position looking for long term employee to join our team
