Unite Resourcing is seeking 2 x Entry Level Asphalt Quality / QA Assistants to join an established asphalt operation based in Hazelmere.

What's On Offer?

- Entry Level: $40.37/hr +Penalty Rates
- Level 1: $42.46/hr + Penalty Rates
- Additional applicable overtime, nightshift and weekend penalties

This is a genuine entry-level chance for someone looking to start a career within the civil, road construction and asphalt industry. No previous asphalt experience is required, with full training provided.

You will work alongside experienced asphalt crews, assisting with Pavement Quality Indicator (PQI) testing and QA traceability to ensure newly laid asphalt meets required quality standards.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Using Pavement Quality Indicator (PQI) equipment to take readings from newly laid asphalt
- Assisting with pavement quality and density checks
- Recording testing locations and results accurately
- Tracking where asphalt has been delivered and laid
- Maintaining QA and traceability records for completed works
- Recording asphalt loads, locations, quantities and job information




- Completing basic paperwork and electronic QA records
- Working alongside Paver Operators, Roller Operators, Foremen and other asphalt crew members
- Learning asphalt paving, compaction and quality processes
- Attending pre-starts and following site safety procedures
- Working safely around active mobile plant and road construction equipment

This is a hands-on, site-based outdoor role, not an office-based QA position.

You will need:

- Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
- White card
- Strong attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer/tablet skills
- Ability to accurately record information
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Willingness to work outdoors around active construction operations
- Flexibility to work nightshift, weekends and overtime
- Willingness to travel and work away when required
