We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Business Development Officer to support the continued growth of our health, wellness, beauty and manufacturing businesses.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, developing prospective customers, supporting commercial projects and building relationships across retail, wholesale, distribution, OEM/private label and contract manufacturing channels.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and prospect new customers, accounts and commercial opportunities.
- Generate leads through market research, industry networks, outbound communication and other business development activities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing customers.
- Support current opportunities across retail, wholesale, distribution, OEM/private label and contract manufacturing.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, presentations, product information and other commercial materials.
- Coordinate product samples, customer submissions and new business enquiries.
- Follow up leads and opportunities to progress projects through the business development pipeline.
- Maintain accurate customer records, opportunity pipelines and follow-up schedules.
- Conduct competitor, market and industry research to identify new opportunities and emerging trends.
- Support the General Manager with major customer presentations, negotiations and strategic business development projects.




- Assist with new product development and commercialisation projects arising from customer opportunities.
- Coordinate with R&D;, production, quality, operations, sales and marketing teams to progress customer projects.
- Support retail ranging presentations and new product submissions.
- Assist with distributor, export and international business development opportunities.
- Attend customer meetings, trade shows and industry events where required.
- Prepare regular updates on leads, opportunities, projects and business development activities.

About You

You are proactive, confident and commercially minded, with strong communication and relationship-building skills. You enjoy identifying opportunities, speaking with new people and following projects from initial enquiry through to commercial development.

Qualifications or experience in business, commerce, marketing, sales, international business or a related field would be advantageous. Experience within FMCG, health, beauty, retail, manufacturing or B2B sales would be highly regarded but is not essential.

You will have strong organisational and administrative skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple customers and projects simultaneously.
