The Role The EL 1 Business Intelligence Manager position works within the Business Management team within Navy Capability Support Branch of Navy Capability Division, with a workforce that consists of APS employees, military members and contractors.

The Business Management team consolidates internal enterprise support services, ensuring systems, people, and processes are aligned and sustainable. Core functions include financial and commercial support; workforce and training enablement; business process improvement; records and information management; and facilities and office management.

The successful applicant will undertake a number of key duties including, but not limited to:

- Lead a small team to develop timely, high quality financial and workforce insights to support enterprise planning.
- Build and sustain effective relationships with data custodians to maintain access to business intelligence information across systems, people and process domains.
- Undertake complex research and analysis to identify business process improvements and efficiencies across enterprise support services.
- Build knowledge of relevant legislation and policy, participating in communities of practice and representing the division at intra-departmental forums.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop and implement a forward work program for consolidation of support service functions and streamlining of business processes.

from concept through to acquisition, in service use and ultimately disposal of the system. Navy Capability Support Branch provides enterprise coordination, governance and enabling services to allow Navy Capability Division to operate as a single integrated organisation.
