PURPLEMAY Jewellery is seeking an experienced and confident Casual Jewellery Sales Consultant to join our new Armadale boutique.

Established in Australia in 1998, PURPLEMAY specialises in fine jewellery, coloured gemstones, engagement rings, wedding bands and bespoke jewellery. With our new boutique opening in Armadale, we are looking for someone who understands the local Australian retail environment and can deliver a warm, polished and personalised experience to our clientele.

About the Role

As a Jewellery Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional in-store experience while supporting the day-to-day operation of the boutique.

Your responsibilities will include

- Providing qualified and personalised jewellery consultations
- Assisting clients with fine jewellery, diamonds, gemstones, engagement rings, wedding bands and bespoke pieces
- Building genuine, long-term relationships with clients
- Following up customer enquiries and appointments
- Achieving individual and boutique sales targets
- Processing sales and operating the POS system
- Conducting daily jewellery counts, stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records
- Maintaining jewellery displays and overall boutique presentation
- Assisting with opening and closing procedures
- Supporting boutique events and client appointments
- Working alongside our marketing team on social media content
- Participating in occasional in-store photography and short-form video content
- Assisting with other boutique operations as required

About You We would love to hear from you if you:
- Have strong retail sales experience , preferably in jewellery, luxury retail, fashion, beauty or another premium retail environment




- Have experience working with and understanding Australian customers and the local retail market
- Have native or near-native English communication skills , with a confident and natural customer-facing manner
- Have a strong understanding of Australian customer service culture and communication style
- Are confident in building relationships and converting enquiries into sales without relying on aggressive selling
- Have a genuine interest in fine jewellery, diamonds and gemstones
- Are polished, personable, reliable and highly detail-oriented
- Are comfortable handling high-value merchandise and following stock/security procedures
- Are confident using POS and basic retail systems
- Are comfortable appearing in occasional social media photos and videos
- Are available to work 2–4 days per week according to the company roster , including some weekends where required
- Have ongoing Australian working rights

Previous jewellery experience is highly regarded, but candidates with a strong background in premium or luxury retail are also encouraged to apply.

Employment: Casual Location: Armadale, VIC

Availability: 1–4 days per week, rostered according to business requirements
