Like people? Good at selling? Want a job that can actually fit around your life?
Global Living Furniture is looking for a Sales Consultant to join our Maroochydore showroom.
We’re a local business, so we can offer something you don’t always get with a standard retail job — flexibility!
The number of hours you work each day and each week is negotiable, and we’re open to part-time full-time or casual arrangements for the right person.
? WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Someone who can walk into a showroom, have a conversation with a customer and figure out:
“What are they actually looking for?”
Maybe you've sold furniture, cars, jewellery, appliances, real estate or something completely different.
If you're confident, personable, switched-on and naturally good at talking to people, we'd like to hear from you.
?️ WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
- Chatting with customers in our Maroochydore showroom with intention to sell
- Understanding what they need and recommending the right options
- Helping customers make purchasing decisions and helping them select the correct item for them
- Following up quotes and orders
- Keeping the showroom looking great
- And, of course... selling some furniture!
You don't need to be a furniture expert on day one. We'll train you.
What matters more is that you're comfortable with people, genuinely listen to customers and have the confidence to ask for the sale.
⏰ THE FLEXIBLE BIT...
Hours are negotiable.
Days are negotiable.
Part-time or casual.
We can work around the right person where possible.
The one thing we do need is some weekend availability, either regularly or through a rotation system.
? WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
✔ Flexible hours
✔ Generous staff discounts
✔ Training & development
✔ Local, friendly business
✔ No two customers are exactly the same!
If you're looking for a role where you can work with people, earn money and still have some flexibility in your week, this could be a great fit.
This role offers flexible scheduling, making it an ideal prospect for semi-retired professionals and retirees seeking the option to balance work with personal pursuits.
Think you've got what it takes?
Send us your cover letter or email application and tell us a little about yourself.
P.S. We have a sneaky little test... ?
Make sure you include the word “SUSIE” somewhere in your application. If you don't, we'll know you didn't read the ad!
